Spring Hockey

The Spartans spring program offers competitive teams in a number of age divisions and is open to hockey players from the North Shore and the surrounding nearby communities. All Spartans practices and home games are held at Canlan North Vancouver and the West Vancouver Arena, and all of our teams participate in tournaments throughout the Lower Mainland — and occasionally beyond.

BC Spartans Spring Hockey offers premium coaching with a focus on skill development. The program provides an opportunity for highly skilled and motivated hockey players to play with each other, to learn from each other and to develop relationships within a structured environment led by professional coaches and mentors. Our motto is "Perfect Practice."

Spartans teams compete in the Future Stars Hockey League (FSHL), a North Shore based league with games each weekend, byes on tournament weekends, and standings and individual player stats tracked online. Teams consist of 14–15 skaters plus goalies, with 1 or 2 affiliate players invited to practices and attending games as needed.

The program runs at three levels — Elite, Varsity, and Development — plus a spring Academy program for U15 and U16 players, so there's a fit for every committed player.
